Summary of Main Activities
This year, we have generally been able to get things back on track again, post Covid pandemic restrictions, and so we have seen some real successes. We participated in the Big PTA Xmas and Summer raffles and raised funds through Smile Amazon and My Name Tags as well. We tried to have a Santa's Grotto, but it turned into an Easter Egg Trail. We did hold our ever popular Break The Rules Day though and we had a couple of Film Nights and a School Disco too. We also sold ice lollies every week throughout the Summer term, (at our ever popular 'Ice Lollies Friday's'). With these funds, we were able to contribute towards various things on the school staff's 'wish list', through our new funding pots for 'Arts and Crafts', and were able to help the school to buy the Little Wandle Phonics package. We were also able to provide the children with a few extra treats, including Christmas trees and Christmas craft activities, a sweet treat and present from the Easter Bunny, refreshments at both the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the annual Sports Day, plus a special visit from a fish and chip van for the Year 6 Leavers at the end of the year, as well as books for the Cygnets from their Year 6 buddies.

Reserves policy
The reserves that we have set aside provide financial stability and the means for achieving our objectives. We intend to maintain our reserves at a level which is at least 6 months of expenditure. We intend to use the reserves for the benefit of the school children, including contributions to support the school staff's 'wish list'. The trustees review the amount of reserves that are required to ensure that they are adequate to fulfil our continuing obligations.
