## **Summary of Main Activities**

Despite many of the usual events being unable to run due to Covid restrictions, this year was still a real success. We participated in the Big PTA Xmas raffle and raised funds through Smile Amazon as well. We also ran a Xmas decoration competition, had a Break The Rules Day, a Non-Uniform Day and a Film Night and sold ice pops every week throughout the Summer term, (at our ever popular 'Ice Pops Friday's'). We also managed to create and sell Tea Towels of/for all the children as well. With these funds, we were able to contribute towards various things on the school staff's 'wish list', including a new Handwriting Scheme and two new gazebos, plus a few extra treats for the children, including sweets from Santa, Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny, Christmas trees, decorations, craft activities and an online Pantomime at Christmas time, plus a special visit from an ice cream van for the Year 6 Leavers at the end of the year.

## Reserves policy

The reserves that we have set aside provide financial stability and the means for achieving our objectives. We intend to maintain our reserves at a level which is at least 6 months of expenditure. We intend to use the reserves for the benefit of the school children, including contributions to support the school staff's 'wish list'. The trustees review the amount of reserves that are required to ensure that they are adequate to fulfil our continuing obligations.

Signed by one or two trustees on behalf of all the trustees
