Structure, Governance and Management
The trust is governed by a trust deed. The trustee is responsible for the management and administration of the charity. There were no changes to governance arrangements during the year.
Objectives and Activities
The trust’s purpose is the preservation and safe custody of a historic vessel , which is privately owned by the trustee and leased to the trust.
The trust undertook no charitable outreach, fundraising, or trading activities during the year and remained nearly dormant .
Public Benefit Statement
The trustee confirms that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. The vessel remains preserved for future heritage and educational purposes.
Achievements and Performance
The trust’s activities were limited to ensuring the vessel remained safely stored and insured. No public-facing or operational activities took place.
Financial Review
The trust received no income during the year. Payments totalled £2,180 , consisting of:

Mooring fees: £1,440

Insurance: £740
All payments were personally funded by the trustee , resulting in a liability owed by the trust.
The trust held no reserves at the start or end of the year.
The vessel is not included in the accounts as it is privately owned and leased to the trust.

1. Basis of Accounts
These accounts have been prepared on a Receipts and Payments basis , as permitted for non-company charities with gross income below the statutory threshold.
2. Related Party Transactions
The trustee personally funded all expenditure totalling £2,180. This amount is recorded as a liability owed by the trust.
3. Assets Held for Charity Use
The vessel preserved by the trust is privately owned by the trustee and leased to the trust . It is therefore not included in these accounts.
