Chairmans Report. 2023/2024

Following a discussion between members and volunteers, It was with a heavy heart that it was decided that the current volunteers and officers, could not continue, due to health issues, age and family commitments.
After discussion with the Owner of the vessel it was decided that the current team and committee would resign, and that the owner would form another team to continue.
Therefore both Mr Malcom Maclaren (secretary ) and myself Michael Toms (Chairman), both resign from our posts as from this time.
The transfer of the administration has taken longer than expected however at the time of writing a new administration has been formed.
The Trust address will also change.
It is hoped that all the banking, website, social media and other associated items will be transferred simply to the new team.
I and the outgoing team wish the new administration and volunteers good luck in the venture. Over the past few years it has been fun, hard work and satisfying. The achievements that have been completed with very little funding have been remarkable.
We of course the outgoing team will be on hand to help if necessary on an advisory basis.
Many thanks to everyone who have been involved with the Tug over the years without you TID164 would have been lost.
