## **The Trustees present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020.**

The following report and financial statement is hereby being forwarded and submitted by the trustees of Faith Aglow Ministries, otherwise known as Faith Aglow for the year ended 31[st] December 2020.

## The following are the **trustees who continue to manage the charity** .

Babafemi Adeosun (Chair)

Faith Okhuoya

Tomiwa Olasimbo

Gabriel Mba

**Organisational Structure and Decision Making:** During the course of the year, the charity remained organised in such a manner that permitted the trustees to meet and manage its affairs effectively online.

The day-to-day running of the charity has continued to be led by the Pastor (Gabriel Mba). This is in approval of the trustees. Gabriel presents his advice as proposals to the Board of Trustees for consideration and approval.

**Charitable purpose:** The advancement of the Christian faith in employing diverse ways of teaching and educating members on the knowledge of God.

## **Vision** :

- To share The Word of God with power and the anointing of the Holy Spirit, restoring beauty to the community and the nations through the teaching and the preaching of the Word of Faith.

- To provide an atmosphere of worship where everyone can experience the presence of God and hear His Word thereby increasing in Faith and walking in divine healing.

## **Charitable activities during the year that achieved the above:**

- Due to the challenging times we were in, most outreaches and community engagements planned for the year had to be postponed indefinitely. However, the church committed to supporting the Barnsley Churches Drop-in Project which is a registered charity caring for the homeless in and around Barnsley community. The church purchased multiple units of sleeping bags, flasks, drinks, snacks, warm clothes, etc in support of this project.

- The church also continued in its financial support and sponsorship of 2 children (Pronab and Mayli) via the compassion UK project.

- The church also supported a local Christian charity movement led by Neil Morris (Westwood 2015 Ltd).

- Due to the global pandemic and national lockdown, the doors of the church were shut for most of the year.

- Fellowship and congregational services had to be moved on-line. Despite this, the church remained united in prayers and continual fellowship, with everyone trusting and growing daily in the teachings of the word of God.

- During the first quarter of the year, before the national lockdown, the church continued to hold her services which include: Sunday Worship Service held at 10.00am —12.00pm and Wednesday’s Bible Study meetings held at 6.00pm —7.00pm every Wednesday except on the last Wednesdays of the month where the services are strictly dedicated to praising God and praying to Him. However, from April to the end of the year, the doors were shut, physical fellowship halted and services moved online.

All our services and online events were conducted in such a way as to promote the worship of God; enhance interactions amongst members; encourage members to be prayerful and teach members about the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

- Though online, the church continued to hold weekly church services with significant time of worship God and also the word of God was preached. Most members were able to join the services online with a few unable due to technological challenges.

## **Donations:**

All donations to the church continue to be free will offerings, one off donations and tithes.
