Activities
The Jay Sheldon Trust exits to raise awareness of rare cancers, particularly little known cancers such as Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour (DSRCT) a lethal sarcoma which mainly affects young people. We aim to raise awareness through fundraising activities and hope to fund research which will lead to effective and kinder treatment of these diseases.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Shall Be: 3.1 The Advancement Of Medical Research For The Public Benefit Into The Causes, Early Diagnosis And Treatment Of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumour (“dsrct”) Cancer And Any Medical Conditions Contributing Thereto Or Arising Therefrom, And The Publication Of Any Useful Results Of That Research. 3.2 The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health For The Public Benefit By Advancing The Awareness And Education Of The General Public In All Areas Relating To Dsrct.
