Plans there do progress, and this project would sit well within that plan. While the trustees have considered the future of the charity they continue to believe that the source to mouth route, which would pass along the lower Tweed to, and through, the village of Horncliffe does present a real opportunity for participation by this project in the development of that footpath, the planting of trees on the route and the provision of interesting interpretation. - relationship with any related parties; - trustees’ consideration of major risks and the system and procedures to manage them. ## **Section C Objectives and activities** **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** The objects of the charity are: 3.1 to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Horncliffe and the surrounding areas the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants; and 3.2 to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation protection March **2012** **TAR** 2 and improvement of the physical and natural environment. and to carry out these purposes through establishing and thereafter conserving and protecting a community wood, its wildlife, flora and fauna to be known as Grinham's Wood at Horncliffe, for the benefit of the public. The principal activity undertaken to date has been to explore the possibility of acquiring land at Horncliffe for the establishment of Grinham's Wood and to conduct some initial planning with regard to the implementation of the project.
