Beka Welfare Trust – Annual Return
Beka Welfare trust is charitable organisation with aim to prevent poverty. The main objective of the charity is below. We are working towards our objectives.
( 1) The relief and prevention of poverty for the public benefit of persons living in Swindon by the provision of food and any other means deemed appropriate by the trustees.
(2) The relief of poverty, relief of sickness and preservation of health and advancement of education for the public benefit of persons living in the Beka region of Pakistan by the provision of food, clean water, education, training, healthcare projects and support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.'
Swindon:
Within Swindon we encouraged our local community, business to provide food, clothes, blanket and other stuff to keep warm and healthy homeless and rough sleepers in Swindon. Local residence and business appreciate it and they starts providing food, tea, coffee, water, Warm clothes and shampoo, toothpaste and brush etc. People like to buy things rather than donate money. We encourage them to get involve and make people lives better.
In Winter we provide 2 time a day and 4 time a week to 16-20 people in Swindon Area. These were rough sleeper and homeless people in the street.
Warm clothes, blanket, jackets, shoes, socks, hat, tooth paste and brush etc were provided to rough sleeper and homeless and needy people in Swindon. All these items were purchase by local resident and we distribute it to the right people.
In Muslim month of Ramadan, the local resident and business were providing food and water for 40-50 people on daily basis for iftar(opening) through Beka Welfare Trust. Our volunteers well organised it. People of all religions, faith and ethnicity were welcomed. All the needy, and our homeless people enjoyed the food throughout the month of Ramadan.
It was best Christmas we had in Swindon and wonderful Eid among the people in need. In Christmas we made gift to the people in need and provided to them to enjoy their Christmas. It was a wonderful Christmas we had. A special food was prepared by local community and serve all those people in need and the people didn’t have a family were also welcoming to enjoy the food.
Operation in Beka Pakistan: -
We are in the process of documentation. The process is very slow from the legal local department. The sooner things sort out the quicker we will start our operation in Beka Region in Pakistan. However, the policy ‘’help yourself’’ has been implemented. Our

volunteers use the links to motivate the local residence and business to invest in digging wel for clean water to prevent diseases due to dilute water in the area.
Orphan children have been admitted into the local school and our volunteers currently looking for other charities to assist those children in regards of uniforms, tuition fees, and other education related expenses.
As I mentioned due to change of Governments in Pakistan. The laws, rules regulation and the requirement has been changing. We are still in the process to open charity Bank account and start proper activities according to the charity commission United Kingdom and Pakistan. Trustee’s Report
The aim of charity to provide all the facilities to the beneficiaries to improve their lives and enable them economical self-sufficient within minimum cost.
All the trustees give their time voluntarily and receive no benefits from the charity. The trustee reviews the aims, objectives and activities of the charity each year.
This report looks at what the charity has achieved and the outcomes of its work for the 12 months in the year ending 31.12.2021
We engaged and involve our local communities, Business and other local organisation to make a policy that how can we assist all those people in need.
Local communities are more than happy to provide goods and food rather than donation in terms of money. It’s safe and people have more confidence to buy things for those people in need.
We are proud of Swindon people because they contribute in winter. They bought waterproof blanket, warm clothes, shoes, toothpaste, brush etc. We distribute along with our local residence to the people in need.
Food projects was excellent almost people in Christmas period and Muslims Ramadan we provide food with the help of local business and take away etc to facilitate people in need. We welcome to the people to participate and bring fresh foods, clothes, books and pay children fees themselves.

Risk is manageable and quantifiable.
