In March 2023 Rithard Adams IHoguera trusteel. visited Medellln and the
Fundacion wrth his wife Rathel. During that visit, meetings were held with
the Fundacion Trustees. with Volunteers and the Fundacion members
wrth a disabilty and their families. The visit enable Hoguera U.K. to gain
a fijrther understanding the important work the Fundacion does in
Medellin, ty creating opportunits'es for meaningful inclusion and significant
participation of people wrth disabilib'es and their families in their society.
Addrtionally the visit helped to strengthen the links between Hoguera in
the U.K. and the FundacJon.
Relati¢)nships ￿tween members ofthe two organisations have developed
and nourished b
ular news u
ates from the Fundacion which

remind each other of the common ground and purpose. Email, phone
converSat￿nS and WhatsApp Communication have enabled effective and
regular contsct beiween Hoguera and the Fundacion parbcularly through
Alonso Zapata, vtho is the chair of the Fundacion as well as being a trustee
of Hoguera.
Hoguera cc*rtinues to have a good relationship with L'Arche. In fact from
August 2022 to July 2023, one member of the Fundacion, came to the
U.K, to w￿rk as a volunteer at L'Arche London as a result of a project to
strengthen links b&￿een Hoguera and Ihe Fundacion by facilitat'ng
exchange of volunteers. During the exchange. the Fundacion member
was involved in meets'ngs with Hoguera in the U.K. and on her retum to
Medellin she supported some activities of the Fundacion. It is hoped that
this projed to exchange volunt88rs continues to develop and by doing so
to strengthen links betsseen Hoguera and Fundacion and also with
L'Arche.
On July the 61h a meeting of Hoguera U.K. membèrs was h8ld to review
the exchange of volunteers and to leam lessons from it
Later in the
