					Links between Hoguera in the UK and the Fundacion in Medellin—
					Colombia, have significantly developed over time as more Hoguera
					members have had the opportunity to visit the Fundacion and spend time
					with its members. Relationships between members of the two
					organisations have developed and are nourished by regular news updates
					from the Fundacion which remind each other of the common ground and
					purpose.

					enabling it to fulfil its legal responsibilities.
					Early in the year the proposal to strengthen links between Hoguera and
					the Fundacion by facilitating exchange of volunteers was developed. 2
					volunteers from Medellin applied to come to the U.K. but eventually, one
					decided to remain in Colombia for an em lo ment o ortuni . One

					member of the Fundacion, came to the U.K., in August, to work as a
					volunteer at L'Arche London. She was welcomed by Hoguera
					Ambassadors Richard Kegan Bull, Carol Hall and other friends ofHoguera
					U.K.
					Later in the year we had an unsuccessful attempt to hold aface to face
					Trustees meeting and AGM as participants went down with Covid. Instead
					online meetings were sustained.
					Plans were begun for Richard Adams [Hoguera trustee], to visit Medellin
					and the Fundacion with his wife Rachel, in early 2023.

Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity					UK Activities in the UK were significantly curtailed throughout the year because ofthe difficulty ofholding meetings and events in person.

					chosen and 61000was allocated to fund a future grant ior the volunteer.
					The Fundacion continued to strengthen its links with local authorities and
					other local charities as well as to have regular activities with people with
					disability and their carers such us, meal, walks, dance, picnic.
					Hoguera was thanked for its financial support enabling the work ofthe
					Fundacion to continue.
					Sufficient Reserves will be maintained throughout 2023 so as to cover all
