Objectives and activities

The objects of the Siva Nandhi Foundation are, forthe public benefit, to
relieve poverty and advance education of people in need, to advan￿ the
Hindu religion, especially Hindu Saivism. in the wider communtty and the
promotion of religious hamiony through promoting knowledge and mutual
understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of diFferent faiths.

The Covid-19 pandemic had subsided in 2022 except for some pockets
of infections caused by new variants. This enabled our efforts to be
driven by non-pandemic needs. We provided support to help the well-
being of poor families and a150 towards the education needs of children
in Sri Lanka. We continued our support to the UK based charities namely
Age (UK) and Save the Children.

The Foundation's programme in 2022 offered support in the areas of
education and family well-being. We are a small charity and, thanks to
our donors. we were able to offer some help to people who had been
facing hardship.
