Pastor`s Report
Amid the many responsibilities of pastoral ministry, the call to care remains the common thread woven through every act of service. In this spirit, Pastor Hunter faithfully ministered to the homeless through weekly visits, providing a hot meal from 4 September 2024 until 5 March 2025, when ill health brought this particular outreach to a pause. This ministry reflected a deep commitment to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of the most vulnerable. It is the prayer of BPTCA to one day have an owned building, serving as a base for similar initiatives and expanding avenues of evangelism.
BPTCA’s pastoral care, exemplified by the ministry described above, has continued with excellence throughout 2024–2025. This care has taken many forms, including but not limited to:
-
Support for the elderly with long term health issues
-
Hospital visits
-
Bereavement telephone support
-
Home visits to the bereaved
-
Home visits to elderly (House bound)
-

Sunday School Department Achievement Report
The BPTCA Sunday School ministry continues to be a vibrant source of spiritual enrichment and growth. Rooted in God’s Word, we draw strength, courage, and fresh anointing to live faithfully in a changing world.
Each Sunday, our sessions continue to challenge, inspire, and nurture our understanding. These lessons are enriched by the wisdom and anointing of our Pastor, whose insights help illuminate the Scriptures. The interactive nature of our classes encourages questions, reflection, and the sharing of personal testimonies—building a united hunger for God’s truth and a reliance on the Holy Spirit’s revelation.
Through UGP’s thematic structure, we explore topics rich in historical insight, biblical principle, and practical life application. These teachings equip us to face daily challenges victoriously, reflecting Christ’s character in our homes, workplaces, and communities.
While personal spiritual growth is evident, our goal of expanding attendance remains unmet. Guided by prayer, we strive to be more strategic in realising this aim. Plans for a periodic Sunday School Quiz have been realised - aim is to extend to regular quarterly quizzes. Plans for an annual Celebration of Sunday School activities are still on the horizon, awaiting additional and appropriate resources and time allocation. Our planned outreach under the auspices of the other auxiliaries, endeavours to further bolster the essence of our invaluable Sunday School.
District Meetings
The members of BPTCA actively engage and demonstrate unwavering commitment in supporting our Bethel District 5 meetings. We attend consistently and actively participate in all auxiliary meetings. Additionally, we host allocated meetings, when called upon to do so. (Please see auxiliary reports).
National Meetings:
As above. BPTCA fully supports our national meetings in similar fashion.
Social and Community Events
Supporting and donation to Caribbean Court Community Bus Project; Local Prayer Walk in the Park. Also, collaboration through on-line forums – presenter, panellist and participating in online prayer meetings.

Risk and Risk Management
As a church, BPTCA faces similar risks to most churches, such as Health and Safety, Legal and Compliance, Community Relevance, Technology and Data Risks, Ethical and Moral Issues, Negative Publicity.
BPTCA Trustees aim to manage these risks by establishing risk management strategies through our committee and appointing specific individuals to lead on these, e.g., Child Safeguarding Officer, Health and Safety Officer, Buildings management Officer. Jointly creating contingency plans, establishing clear policies and procedures, collaborating closely with the District and National church policies as are relevant and appropriate to BPTCA, investing in insurance coverage, and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Regular review of risk profiles and adapting strategies accordingly is essential to ensure the church's long-term sustainability and success.

Respective responsibilities of the Committee and the examiner
The charitys trustees are responsible for the preparation of accounts. The charitys trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year section 144(2) of the charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

Basis of independent examiner`s report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a true and fair view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
