||Our original application for charitable status stated:<br>_We run leadership/life skills programmes using sport (rugby, football_<br>_and cricket) as the vehicle for the learning and development process._<br>_We invite volunteers to support the projects and we base our work on_<br>_local organisations - schools, church, other NGOs - to help with logistics_<br>_and to ensure lasting impact. In each country we are building a cohort_<br>_of coaches and facilitators to assist and, eventually, run the_<br>_programmes._<br>We visited Calais  (France) and Chaldika (Greece) with a view to<br>supporting refugee children. In Calais we worked wth Care for Calais and<br>in Greece, with Lighthouse Relief.<br>In December we visited Sri Lanka ro run a series of the Inspire<br>progtrammes. In Batticaloa, we ran a two day facilitation training<br>programme for the Lead to Lead group that we have estaboished there.<br>Then we ran three, one-day progtrames for a school, an NGO and for the<br>orphanage.<br>In Trinconmalee, we ran a half day refresher programme for 5 of last<br>year’s facilitator cohort and then programmmes at 3 different schools in<br>and around Trinconmalee.<br>We then went up into the hill country and the tea plantations to run a<br>facilitation programme for an LGBTQ group who then supported a school<br>progtamme near Hatna.<br>In. September, we made the first contact with a charity supporting<br>refugees in Lebanon. It is called the Alsama project and they have<br>recently started playing cricket. There may be an opportunity to help<br>provide coaches and leadership facilitation training.<br>In October we visited Nepal again to run a facilitation programme in<br>Kathmandu and then an Inspire programme for both girls and boys out in<br>the Kavre village. We continue to have a highly productive relationship<br>with the Padnma Kanya School and the Laxmi Pratisthan charity. We have<br>also established a new contact with an entrepreneur in Kathmandu and<br>this looks very promising.|

Grant making.  We have had no applications for grants to support charitable ventures this year. 

Volunteers are central to the Small Acts of Kindness philosophy. We have  policy on grantmaking; no full or part-time employed staff and rely on volunteers to run all our projects and the administration of the charity.

**Summary of the main** We continue to receive positive feedback from a number of sources in Sri **achievements of the charity** Lanka about the impact of our work there. In December, when we visit **during the year** again, we are working in Kanthale with a youth development – the founder was on our programme this last year. 

In Nepal, we worked with over 60 children and for 20 of them, it was the first time they had been away from their village. The change from shyness and fear to warmth, friendship and confidence was heart warmning. 

We have received positive feedback from the Laxmi Pratisthan charity about the impact of our programme in Nepal. We also introduced them to ro another charity based in UK which led to a sports hall being built in the Kavre village. .
