## TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT 

FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31[ST] MARCH 2023

The Charity is a Community based organisation which typically provides space for men of all ages to participate in meaningful occupation such as woodwork. The aims include the promotion of men's health and well being, helping to decrease the feeling of social isolation and in turn related health issues.. 

The Trustees are:-                 Mr H R Cutbill (Chairman)                           Mr B Meade (Secretary) 



## **Financial Review:** 

The Trustees continued to attract income from fund raising, sales and members subscriptions along with Grants from various Bodies. 

## **Reserves:** 

The Reserves stand at £15246 and continues to grow as budgeted for extensive repairs and enhancement necessary to create a quiet room and rest areas within the 'Shed'. 

## **Risk Management:** 

The Trustees hold their surplus funds in a risk free Bank Account. 

## **Risk Assessment:** 

A written Risk Assessment Policy has now been drawn up and adopted by the trustees.

I have examined the summarised financial statements set out above. 

## **Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and Examiner** 

As the charity’s trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the summary financial statements. 

I have agreed to report to you my opinion on the summarised statements consistency with the financial statements, on which I reported to you on the 31st. March 2023. 

## **Basis of Opinion** 

I have carried out the procedures I consider necessary to ascertain whether the summarised financial statements are consistent with the full financial statements from which they have been prepared.   The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts. 



## **Opinion** 

In my opinion the summarised financial statements are consistent with the full financial statements for the year ended 31[st] . March 2023. 

## **Examiners’ Statement** 

1.       In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements: 

- (a)  to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 41 of the 1993 Act and 

(b)  to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the 1993 Act have not been met, or 

2.    to which in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
