area. for the public benefit. in p￿ICUlar but not
limited to those are retired, unemployed or
have health issues through the provision of
facilit￿S for hobbies, recreation or other leisure-
time occupations induding practical interests,
skills sharing, the leaming of new skills, and
helpir¥J v￿h other community-based projects.
In furtherance of these obj'ects but not otherwise,

To eStabl￿h a community workshop and to
maintain, manage, or cooperale wth any.. other
charity, organisalion, company or statutory
authonty in the maintenance and managemerrt of
such activities promoted by the charity in
furtherance of the above objerts.

In September 2021 the Shed was assessed
against the Queen's Award for Voluntary

The Shed conbnues to enjoy a hyh level ol
occupancy based on eight fvmime
shedderslday. current number5 are still
slightly down on pre-pandemic fuures but it is
anticipated that vfith confKlence building

Occupancy is seen as an important indicator
of beneficiaries. value of the ser4ice.
There haven't been any accidents.
There havenl been any safeguarding issues.
There haven't been any complaints from
shedders or their familieslcarers about the
Shed.
Several compliments have been receNed
particularly from shedders. family members
andlor carers.
The Shed remains financially sound through a
M￿ed source of income..
The men make a small Contr￿ution as and
when they attend. Six pounds per vt5il is
charged which is unchanged since the Shed
opened In 2017.
The local authonty uses a means tested
method of funding the attendance of some
older vulnerable men.
