The finandal ststements have been prepared In accordance with the accountsng polici8s $01 out In notes to the
accounts and comply with the tharity'5 goveming document, the Charities Act 2011 and Accounting and
Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicabl8 to charities preparing their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applica￿e in the UK and Republic of Ireland wblished In
October 2019.

GRANT MAKING POLICY, AIMS. OBJECTIVES AND PUBLIC BENEFIT
Grants are made in accordan¢e with the Iruslees, w5hes. The Iruslees have agreed prin¢lpally lo eoneenlrale
on one or tsvo geographical areas where there Is local knowledge on the part of the trustees. Thls will enable
the trustees to consider carefully and be aware of those charities which they wish lo support, both immediately
and over the longer term. Additionally, tho Iruslees intend lo create guidelines forwhich ollhg charitable sect¢r$
they would like to support and whether or not there was a particular social dèmographic e.g. young people.
The policy of the trustees Is that they are committed to promollng equal opportunities In the consideration of
applications for Grants or Fundlng. All applicants will receive equal treatment regardless of age, di8abilily.
gender reassignment, mari181 or civil partnef slalus, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or
national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orienlalion.
The charity only makes grants lo other charities as it con*'ders that. as they are established for public ben¢fil,
they are b8st ￿aCed to be partners in support of its charitable objectives. The Trustees confirm that they have
referred to the guid8nc8 contained in the Charity Commissions general guidance on public benefit when
reviewing the charity'$ aims and objeclivgs and in planning future activi(ies and setting grant making poliaes.

to local charrties established in the UK.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Accounts
The detsiled accounts of the charity are set out on pages 8 10 16.
In the year to 31 December 2025 Mr Plummer donated £1,400,04712024.' £448.1211 lo the charitable trust and
investments generated in¢omo of £110,89512024.' £121.5971.
Inve8tmenl8 are managed by CanaCC￿d Genuity Wealth Manag6menl. In 2019 the trustees invested £2 milllon
which are now held under discr8b'onary management in tsvo separate portfoli08 wlh Canaccord Genuity Wealth
Management Fund 8nd Fidelity Inve8tmenls. Investment comprising the Palrizia shares setued on the charity
are lodged wrth Evelyn Partner8. The charity's holding al 31st December 2025 wa8 196,6518hares. The balance
of cash is curr•nlly dopo8lted wfrth Handelsbanken, Leamlnglon Spa.
y a Deed ofAppoinlmenl dalod 2 August 2022. The Truste&8 of Mr8 M D Plummef's 2003 Diycretlonary Tru81
donated the Trust Fund comprising 1 share in Misrimuna Investments Limited and cash in the b8nk account to
the charity. On 1 July 2025, Mr R Plumrner tran$forr¢d the remalnlng Share in M18rlmuna Investments Llmiled
to the chadty.
On 1 April 2025, Mr R Plummer transferred invgslmenl propety wrth a value of £465,000 lo the charlty. Mr R
Plummer retalns legal lit￿ to the property, whlch Is held on tru81 for thè charlty.
Investment pollcy.
The Iruslees, power8 of Investment are w*Jg and govemed by the Trust Deed.
The trustee8 have engaged Canaccord Genuity Wgalth Man8gement lo advise on an Investment strategy lo
produce medlum term c8p*t81 gr0￿h. Canaccord Genulty ¢arriad out 8 ri8k assessment and the truslges agreed
on Balanced Gr￿ opproach which means..
Oblectlvè.. This strategy aims lo preserve th8 Trust's Inve51ed assets above the r818 of Inflallon. Given this
largel, il also attempts to generate balanced growth retums through diver8ified investments with a maximum
equity welghling of 70%.
Retum Expectatlons.. The strategy aims lo genor$to a balanced gro1￿h-orIenIed return in-llne wllh or sllghlly
In exces8 of in1181ion (CPI) + 3.5% per annum over the medlum to long tem.
Rbsk Tolerancè.. Investors In the balanced growth category are prepared to aeeepl some risk of capital loss in
the short and medium lem. in ordèr lo achieve a sustsined real (above inflation) increase in capi1819rowth over
the long term.
The curTenl investments in the Vanguard Life Strategy 80% Equity account held by Fidelity Investments and
Canaccord Genuty Wealth Management Discretionary portfolio are con81stenl with this approach.
The Trustees 8180 have a holding in Patiizi8 AG shargs which are shares gifted by Richard Plummer. A5 single
shareholdings they 8re not consistent wth the Tru8lees' stsled attitude to r18k 80 the Trustees plan to sell d¢)wn
the holdlng as and when p088ible.
RESERVES
The whole of the charity's endowment is expendable. The Trustees aim to maintsin approximately £20,000 in
the general fund lo ensuro there are sufficient fijnds avallable to cover the support and governance costs. The
Trustees have the flexibility to usg the 6xpendable endowment fund lo make grants and donations as required.
Al the 31 December 2025 the chanty h8d total fund8 of £7,105,31412024.' £5,361.3921 and unre8tricted funds
were £85.857 {2024.- £47,909).

FWURE PLANS
The original amount donated lo the charity was just over £4,000,000 and further gifts have been donated in
subs8qugnl years valued at appr0￿matelY £4,526,547. The original settlors may gift further shares in
subsequent lax years. The Trustees have the discretion lo make grants lo charities even If this results in 8
decrease in the volue ol the original amounts d￿ated lo the charity.
FUNDRAISING REGULATOR STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE
The charity has not appointed a fundraiser and does not undertake lo raise fvnds from the gener81 public. Hence,
W8 have received no fundraising complaints during the year.

The truste88 are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Annual Report and the financial slatgmonls in
accordance with applicable law and United Klngdom AccLiunting Standards (United lQngdom Generally
