HAMESH half year finance report Apr 2023 to Apr 2024.docx 6[th] April 2024

## **Subscriptions**

We have taken 13 subscriptions for this year April 2022 to April 2023, and 2 paid last year for this year. In future please don’t pay until asked, it helps me keep the paper work tidy and legible.

## **Meridian Centre Piano Donation**

Rob Friar gave us a donation of £200 collected from the kind people in the Meridian Shopping Centre whilst music is being played on the in-store piano. Thanks Rob!

## **QA Physio Department**

In April we were asked if we could make some table tops to fit onto wheelchairs so that patients could perform arm exercises whilst they sat in their chairs.

After several visits we came up with a design that would fit various size chairs.

In July we delivered six table tops to the hospital physio department.

We decided to make these just for the costs of materials of which we were paid for in early October.

## **St Joseph’s Church**

We have been asked to repair their notice board, but after investigation it was obvious that it was too far gone, and needed replacing. We have purchased a sheet of ply for the back, and hopefully make the carcase from timber at the shed. They will obtain the glazing material and fit the notice board themselves.

## **Andy Campbell’s donation**

Andy is always making Bonsai tables, and on this occasion, he sold a table and donated £50 to the shed, thank you.

## **Rent**

No mention of lease renewal.

The manager of the Meridian Centre assures us that they are not looking for payment.

## **Public liability insurance**

This was paid last November for another year and will be due in November.

## **Banking**

We continue to bank with Santander and the card holders remain with Stewart, Frank, and myself.

## **Charity finance report**

Stewart and Terry submitted our April 2022 to April 2023.

## **Subs might have to go up next year**

Notice that we are down by £347 on last year, we might have to put the subs up next year if we don’t have enough members. This is mainly due to the cost of electricity and insurance.

## **Next finance report**

This will take place on the 11[th] April 2024.
