HAMESH annual finance report Apr 2020 - April 2021.docx 6[th] April 2021

Covid – 19

We closed shop on Tuesday the 17[th] March 2020 due to Covid – 19 virus, and reopened in a very limited way in July to start making a bench for Havant fire brigade. We were shut down for the second lockdown on the 5th November. We opened again in a very limited way on the 7[th] December to tidy up the shed due to all the work we did prior to the second lockdown, and have remained closed to date.

Fire brigade bench

Stewart and Terry were asked by Dave Guest to make a bench seat for Havant Fire Brigade. Starting in July we produced a cutting list, then ordered the timber from and donated mostly by Inksters in Bedhampton. From then until just before the second lockdown started, we completed the bench and presented it the Havant Fire Brigade. This was a totally without profit construction, all materials were paid for by Post Code Publications.

Fire Brigade Pergola

We have been asked to make the Fire Brigade a pergola, no progress to date

Subscriptions

Please note that we were not taking subscriptions due to Covid-19, however George and Tony both paid their subscription during the previous financial year, so this is a part of the April 2019-2020 report, and won’t show in this one, also Doug paid his subscription in April, so to remedy this, their payments will be carried forward to April 2021, assuming Covid allows us to reconvene, else I can make a refund.

Rent

We have signed up for another couple of years, though we have not been asked for this year’s payment of a pound as yet.

Endless gifts

We received another payment from Martina for £127.80, I paid £125 into the bank and £2.80 into the cashbox.

Public liability insurance

I have paid for another year of public liability insurance cover £95.48.

Banking

We continue to bank with Santander and the card holders remain with Stewart, Frank, and myself.

Charity finance report

We have succeeded in submitting our finance reports, for 2017 -2019 and 2019 – 2020 so we are currently up to date. I will get the finance report ready to submit to the charity commission, I currently have ten months to do so.

Next report half yearly

Covid 19 permitting, October 2021.
