Fund raising activttie5 have recovered well since the effects of COVltk19 in 2021-2022. These activrties included:
Christmas sleigh street collections and static collections in local market square, racelcasino nights, coffee
morning5, hire of marquees, raffles Easter chocolate5 and other donations received from the public and
community groups. Thorne Rural Lions hosted their annual golf day and a brass band concert.
Donations have been made in the form of youth awards, wetfare 5UPPOrt, and donation to the annual toy appeal.
The charity trustee5 have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit.
