||||year.<br>Volunteers<br>were able to carry out maintenance<br>works between<br>lockdowns<br>with working<br>party groups attending<br>on 9~ January 2021 and<br>1"August 2020. The works involved<br>trimming<br>overgrowth<br>and clearing|
||||paths and repairing<br>steps to keep the footpaths open and accessible.|
||||Early in the year, whilst the country was in full lockdown,<br>videos were|
||||produced<br>and posted on social media featuring<br>walks through<br>the|
||||woodland<br>so that the community<br>could experience the sights and sounds|
||||of nature even ifthey were unable to leave their homes.|
||||Fundraising<br>activities were curtailed<br>by the pandemic as it was not|
||||considered<br>safe to encourage<br>large group gatherings<br>however the|
||||charity's<br>financial<br>policy ofretaining<br>sufficient reserves to meet the|
||||annual<br>running<br>costs ofthe woodland<br>meant that the charity remains<br>in a|
||||comfortable<br>financial<br>position.|
