## Activities

**Objects:** TO RELIEVE PERSONS AFFECTED BY DOWN SYNDROME BY PROMOTING AND COORDINATING THE PARTICIPATION OF SWIMMERS WITH DOWN SYNDROME AT ALL LEVELS AND IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS ENABLING THEM TO REALISE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND COMPETE AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF THEIR SPORT.

**Activities:** 25 swimmers took part DS World Swimming Champs in, Canada in July.  24 countries took part, DSS-GB came 2nd,  Currently organising next DSS-GB training camp in Newcastle in Aug.  Supporting families to access good inclusive swim clubs around GB.  Sharing information regarding National and local swim events.  Reviewing gov doc. Updating current and also writing new policies.  Actively fundraising.
