“We are a social group for trans people and are welcoming to anyone who is on the trans spectrum.  Based in Bournemouth, we hold group sessions in social settings for people aged over 18.  Come chat and chill with other like-minded people! We are a safe, social and supportive group.  Sessions can run in local bars/pubs/restaurants as required and may vary.” 

Since the pandemic rules and guidelines relaxed back in May 2021, we have been meeting for social groups.  Initially these were held outside and as the year drew to a close we moved in side to a local public café. 

We have had a few swimming sessions in a local public swimming pool.  Swimming has been identified as a sport that can be engaged by all, whether experienced or not, and has had a positive effect on group members physical and mental health. 

We have not generated any significant amount of money in the last year.  We have had some small amount of income which has come via AmazonSmile to the sum of £75.57. 

We have also carried some university work which consisted of training Social Work students.  In conjunction with another local charity, we earned £653.10. £28.78 was paid for web services, and a total of £39.60 was paid for travel expenses. 

Once Government guidelines allow bigger groups to meet, or we need to rent a location for future group sessions, our outgoings will continue to be low, as our social group sessions are in public in the Bournemouth area.
