We continue to mèèt our charifable aims and objectives We Continue lo maintain a level of income that Is Suilable for our aims. We continue lo manage our finances eltectively. Over the eours8 of the year, the band supported a wide range of engagefflents. including civic evgnts, commpnily concerts. contest appearan¢es. fundraising a¢lNities, and seasonal perfomiances. These included participatwjn in local remembrance services, community celebrations such as Ihe Middleton Christmas Lights Switch-on. regular performances supporting local charity Ihe East Lancashire Railway. and a full programme of cOnrtS and fundraising evenks delivered in community venues and public spaces. Conlesl participation lorrned a significant part of the organisaiion's activity dullng the yeaf. The band achieved noiable success by winning the Regional Finals, which resulted in qualification for and participation in the National Finals held in Chellenham. Representing the region at a national level marked an Important milestone for the organisation and conlribijted positively lo It5 Standing within the wider brass band rrVeMent. Alongside the senior band s activity. the Youth. Training. and Beginner bands remained active throughout Ihe..year. supporting conc8rts and fundraising events and providing regular opporiunits.es for musical developtnent and public performance. This work continues to underpin the long-temi sustainability of the organisation arsd its aL>ilily to support progression for young musicians.
