**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES, TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES ACROSS THE UK, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING LITERACY SUPPORT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PRIMARY SCHOOLS, CHURCHES AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS.

**Activities:** Operating in Wandsworth, London, we want all children aged 0 to 11 years to have frequent, positive reading experiences. We train teams of volunteers to give one-to-one support in primary schools. We run early literacy classes for parents and toddlers. We encourage and equip parents to support their children's reading at home.
