Dellverlng our Alms and objertlves
We review our aims and objertives each year to make sure we are delivering
them as stated. Our review looks at what we have done in the last financial
year and how far we succeeded in delivering some of all of our objectives.
Evidently, we deliver them on a year to year basis. We follow all Charty
commission guidelines in ensurlng our aims and objectives are delivering a
public benefit.
During the year under review, we received funding from Sports England to
support inactive people from minority backgrounds to get active. The aim was
to get both physical and mental health benefits by taking part in different
sports activities over one year. We received a £13.360 sports grant.
Sporting 4 Life was quiet an intensive sporting and keep fit project that
benefitted a large number of people. Most have continued being active after
the project ended which was our long term objective-to get people from
rninority backgrounds who multiple statistics indicate are inartive though they
are disproportionately affected by cardiovascular diseases like strokes, high
blood pressure and diabetes.
A recived a Home Office Windrush Awareness grant totalling £9950
We provided consultation services to different partners worth £20.400.

We received £5600 in donations.

12 months.

Volunteers
We want to thank the team of volunteers that helped us during the whole year
because without them, we would have done very little work. Special thanks to
all the volunteers who are still offering their services to support the delivery of
our different projects and who are always available at short notlce.
We will forever be grateful to you and hope we continue working with you
long into the future.
Overseas outreach
We have registered Citizen Outreach in Kenya, Sierra Leone and Cameroon.
Our pilot Homeless project for which we re￿iVed a small grant last year from
The Eleanor Rathbone charitable Trust has now ended. We want to thank the
trust immensely for the support.
Statement of Financial Activities Financial Revlew

Like all small charities, getting funding for projects in the present financial
climate remains the biggest challenge we face.
However, we recognize the present cost of living still affects the most
vulnerable people in society and we work round the clock to provide the
services and support we get to reduce the daily challenges they face.
That is why the two projects we are presently delivering (Energy savings advice
and Windrush awareness campaign) are being delivered to communities facing
disproportionally from the cost of Living crisis.
Reserve Pollcy
We have a flt for purpose reserve policy that has set aside at least £5000 to
protect our charity from sudden drops in income and also help us take
advantage of any new opportunities that may arise. Our present unrestricted
funding is £9000 Our trustees decided our reserves can be spent on any of our
aims. Our reserve policy will be reviewed annually. Our reserves can cover
continuity, restructuring fund, and dissolution
