Activities

We are paediatricians who plan to undertake research in Africa with the aim of improving the treatment of infant who have severe malnutrition (called kwashiorkor) and are shocked. This condition currently has a high mortality of around 50%, and we hope to find ways to reduce this substantially. Currently we are fund-raising whilst preparing the study plans in detail.

Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (‘the Objects’) Are For The Public Benefit, The Advancement Of The Health Of Children In Africa In Particular But Not Exclusively By Undertaking Medical Research, And Publishing The Useful Results Thereof, And Education Amongst Health Workers.
