- And  Supporting the mobilisation and application of implementation evidence and knowledge in policy and in practice in other appropriate ways

- Implementation refers to the process of putting a service, a policy, or a set of practices into application so that it achieves its intended outcomes to provide socially significant benefits to individuals and society 

- Implementation science is the systematic study and testing of implementation processes and innovations in order to increase knowledge about what is effective 

- And  Implementation practice is how we use that knowledge in the design and delivery of services for the public benefit on the ground 

The UK Implementation Society has been planning and supporting work in anticipation of the European Implementation Event in June 2025. This has been the main focus of work. The Society has also been developing a strategic plan for the Society and considering how to find funding and capacity to support the objects of the society.

## Section D                      Achievements and performance 

The Society has been co-ordinating work in anticipation of the European **Summary of the main** Implementation Event in Newcastle in 2025. This is a large conference **achievements of the charity** that brings together European and UK Implementation. The Society has **during the year** been part of the Management Committee and Event Planning. Contributions have been made to the academic planning and curation of the event. This is an opportunity to co-produce a significant collaborative event.
