## **Annual Report – Promising Futures**

During the reporting period, Promising Futures continued to operate on a very small, local basis, providing targeted support to young people aged up to 18 who are living, working, or attending school in Castle Vale. The charity exists to respond flexibly to need as it arises, and trustees remain committed to offering timely, practical assistance where it can make a meaningful difference.

In this period, the charity made **=small grants** , each of up to £200, to support individual young people. Grants were awarded in response to direct requests and were agreed by trustees in line with the charity’s aims. Although activity levels remain modest, trustees are confident that these grants had a positive impact on the young people supported.

The charity received **no income during the reporting period** and continued to operate using existing funds. Promising Futures remains deliberately small and volunteer-led, with no paid staff, allowing resources to be directed entirely towards grant making. Trustees will continue to review the charity’s financial position and respond to requests for support as they arise.
