Promising Futures was established to support young people living, working or going to school on Castle Vale.

Once again we are pleased to report that we have been able to offer grants in both the main strands of funding. We have continued to offer support for young people in the locality at Christmas where they have suffered hardship or had particular challenges this year. Young people who have suffered hardship, or difficult circumstances within their young lives have also received support through supporting for accessing higher education and for providing items of clothing to support in rebuilding lives.

We have not actively sought funding this year due to challenges with regards to capacity for trustees, however trustees have met and agreed that there is still significant value in offering as a minimum the Christmas gifts to those young people who have suffered hardship in the previous year.

Thankfully we remain in a secure financial position for the coming year to be able to support our offer
