Promising Futures was established to support young people living, working or going to school on Castle Vale.
Once again we are pleased to report that we have been able to offer grants in both the main strands of funding. We were particularly pleased to be able to bring a new element to our offer supporting young people in the locality at Christmas where they have suffered hardship or had particular challenges this year. Young people have benefitted from mentoring via the Choices project and we have been able to support young people to attend trips and visits to support in raising aspirations.
We have not actively sought funding this year however we continued to benefit from donations from individuals and organisations.
Thankfully we remain in a secure financial position for the coming year.
