## **Solon Community Hub**
– Annual Report April 2020 March 2021
Welcome to the Annual Report for Solon Community (aka the Hub).
Up until January 2020, the Hub was flourishing; it offered a wide range of services and activities that supported and entertained the community. From financial and benefits advice to sewing classes and fun days. The coffee mornings were very popular as it gave residents, especially the more mature a place to come and meet their neighbours and more importantly, it encouraged them to leave their homes and attend a safe, friendly environment.
In what has been an unprecedent period in time, Solon Community Hub has been unable to run any activities or offer support to the community.
The Hub closed in March 2020 following government guidelines due to the pandemic.
We look forward to opening as soon as government restrictions have been lifted and we are confident that all Trustees and Volunteers are able and prepared to restart activities at the Hub.
