Fundraising
We are very grateful to our supporters who take part in a variety of events to raise funds for the charity. We were fortunate to secure a place in the 2025 London Marathon which, whilst raising a substantial sum, additionally resulted in one of our runners being interviewed prior to the race further raising awareness of the condition and the profile of the charity.
One of our Scottish supporters was made aware of a Grant scheme organised by an international company. The HANCUK application was approved and £15000 was donated to the Head and Neck Unit in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow for the improvement of facilities for Head and Neck Cancer patients from all areas of the West of Scotland who were receiving treatment.
