I'm very pleased to report that it has been another successful year for Aycliffe Driv¢ Preschool. The
number of children on roll has increased again, and we are offering more children 30-hour ￿nded spaces.
We have a good balance of fee-paying and funded children. and have found that some of those fee-paying
parents are sending their children for more than the recommended minimum 2 sessions per week. We
have n¢w starters confirmed for the summer term. and have already lined-up children for the Autumn
term in September, including the sibling of I child who is currently with us. I'd like to thank Mrs Hobbs.
Ms Hodgson and Mrs Wartnaby for the time they spend communicating Wlth prospective parents, sorting
the waiting list, preparing registers. ensuring that we have all funding codes and making sure that we fit
children in where we can.
The new management team are continuing to do an amazing job, fully supporting each other and staff.
plus planning, implemenling and constantly reviewing an enriching, educational and fun curriculum.
We had our Ofsted during our inspection in March 2023, and I'm pleased to announce that we received a
rating of 'Good' so congratulations to all staff foi this. Your hard-work and dedication 15 always on show.
but to have it recognised by Ot3ted just confirnis what an amazing job you are all doing.
I would like to thank all of our staff for their continued commitment to their roles and the dedication
shown to th¢ children and their families. Early years education is an essential provision, but sometimes
feels significantly underpaid and underappreciated for the amount of work, trainin& and knowledge
involved. I know that staff ale keen to ensure that each child in our setting will leave us with the skills.
curiosity and enthusiasm to continue to leam in their ¢dueation journey.
I would like to finish my report by thanking the trustees for their continued suppor¢ and the statTfor their
