## YOUTH EMPLOYMENT STRATEGY (YES) Together, delivering better employment opportunities for our young people ## Chair’s Report AGM ## 2[nd] Sept 2021 We had a very well attended and successful relaunch of IYP in 2019, which was re-branded as a celebration event. It was cost neutral thanks to donations from Sara P, Howard G, and PK, and we even fundraised on the night and through our new brochure. Thank you too to John Price for the fantastic video. Great PR. Unfortunately, just are we were getting going with many new partnership/initiative C19 and lockdown happened. We have been meeting monthly despite C19 restrictions over Zoom, but unable to plan because of the uncertainty with the schools. The forthcoming year will be very challenging for the schools, and we must be flexible to adapt our programme to the circumstance that we find ourselves in.
