## **Report of the Trustees for the year ending 31st March 2025** 

The trustees of Sandford Community Centre Charity present their annual report and accounts for the year ended 31st March 2025 and confirm they comply with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011, the trust deed and the Charities SORP (FRS102). 

## **Aims and Objectives** 

The Charity's objective is to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation. These are provided in the interests of social and welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public at large. 

## **Review of Activities and Achievements** 

Sandford Community Centre was registered on 11th October 2017 with eight trustees as a charitable incorporated organisation. 

Bank Account was set up with Lloyds Bank 

The charity received a donation from Sandford Pre- School on its closing. 

The Pre-school stipulated that the funds should be used for promoting activites for young people. 

The charity has applied to Tesco Groundwork charity for a grant towards picnic benches and tables.  The charity was awared £1,000 .  Our cost was £1,318.  The benches have been installed. 

An Annual General Meeting will be held via zoom where members of the public may stand for election or re-election as trustees of the charity in terms of the trust deed.  (30th September 2025) 

## **Our Finances** 

The charity collects donations from grants and fund raising through events at the village. The reserves held by the charity amount to £ 5,530.37
