|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The charity operates three drop-in centres to provide<br>a welcoming, non-judgemental space in which<br>visitors can feel safe to explore their current issues<br>and future possibilities. Services provided including<br>help with Homesearch applications, housing benefits<br>and Universal Credit. The Drop-ins are staffed by<br>trained volunteers, under the supervision of a Project<br>Leader.<br>The charity is providing direct support to those<br>people who are homeless or at risk of becoming<br>homeless, including essential help in navigating<br>government and local authorities’ procedures, much<br>of which has to be completed online.<br>One of the most welcome developments is closer<br>involvement with the New Forest District Council,<br>who now regularly send staff to work with us at our<br>drop-in centres. NFDC has also provided funding<br>grants to us on a more formal basis, via a Revenue<br>Community Grant.|
