|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The charity operates three drop-in centres to provide<br>a welcoming, non-judgemental space in which<br>visitors can feel safe to explore their current issues<br>and future possibilities. Services provided including<br>help with Homesearch applications, housing benefits<br>and Universal Credit. The Drop-ins are staffed by<br>trained volunteers, under the supervision of a Project<br>Leader.<br>The charity’s Drop-In At Home programme supports<br>those who have recently moved into accommodation,<br>who need support, encouragement and mentoring.<br>This programme was conceived in dialogue with<br>NFDC’s Housing Options Team. The charity is<br>providing direct support to those people who are<br>homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, including<br>essential help in navigating government and local<br>authorities’ procedures, much of which has to<br>provided online. The charity operates in close co-<br>operation with New Forest District Council and other<br>local organisations.|
