Para 1.20 Throughout the year we continued to work
on highlighting various Animal Protection
issues on our Facebook and Twitter
group/pages. We often put live petitions
from various groups on specific issues, such
as the ongoing work to prevent the
Importation of Hunting Trophies, Saving the
Asian Elephant, or the work to replace the
discredited animal testing model with
alternatives that are available for ‘Big
Pharma’ to use. We also put articles/papers
related to animals on our website see

undertake a Yearly Review and you will
find the 2023 Review here:
2023 REVIEW–Pan-Orthodox Concern for

We contnue to collaborate with the Oxford
Centre for Animal Ethics; The Animal Interfaith
Alliance UK; The Orthodox Fellowship of the
Transfguraton, USA, and The Volos Academy
for Theological Studies, Greece.
As a result of the death during this year of our
Treasurer, Fr Simon Nellist, it was necessary to
make changes to the Ofcers of the charity. As
a result, the Chair became Treasurer, a new
Chair was appointed, and a new second
signatory of the bank account was added.
These changes took place in 2023, although
some of the paperwork was not completed
untl early 2024.
