The trustees are responsible for keèping adequate and proper accountlng records that are sufflclent to show and explèin the Trust's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial p051tion of the Trust and enable them to ensure that the financial ststements comply wlth the Charities Act 2011 and regulations made thereafter and wlth the requirements of the Companles A¢t 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Trust and hence for takin8 reasonable step5 for the prevention and detertion of fraud and other Irregularitles. The trustees are responsible for the malntenance and Integrlty of the corporate and flnanclal Informatlon included on the charity's website. Statement as to dlsclosure of Informatlon to audltors So far as the trustees are aware, there is no relevant audit Informatlon las defined by Sertlon 418 of the Companies Act 2006) of whlch the charltable company's auditors are unaware, and each trustee has taken all the Steps that he ought to have taken as a trustee in order to make himself aware of any relevant audit information and to establish that the company's auditors are aware of that informatlon. Related Partles South Downs Natlonal Park Authorlty ISDNPAI is a related party to South Downs National Park Trust (SDNPTI, due to Its ablllty to appoint 33% of the board. Durlng the year SDNPA provided In-Kind salary and overhe4ds contrlbutlon5 of £152,579 The trust made payments durlng the perlod totallln8 £8.500 to The Goodwood Estate Company Llmlted, company Controlled by the chalrman of the development board, His Grace The Duke of Richmond, Lennox and Gordon, In respect of the restoratlon of North Down Pond and Home Farm Pond. These payments were funded wholly from two restricted grants totallin8 £20,000 from Portsmouth Water specifically for this prolect. Thls report has been prepared In accordance wSth the speclal provlslons of Part 15 of the Companles Act 2CQ6 relating to small companies.
