Kerith Trust

Trustees report 2024

Objective

Our primary objective, as detailed in our constitution is:

The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in Djibouti and such other parts of the world as the trustees shall determine.

Activities

The trustees have met once a quarter using online video technology, to discuss the on-going relationship with our associated group of self-funded voluntary workers in Djibouti, to review formal requests for project support and to agree methods of fund raising for those projects that are approved. We also continue to act as a means of transferring donated funds to the workers in Djibouti.

We continue to maintain and develop the Kerith Trust website to reflect our objectives and to promote the work that we now support in Djibouti.

Conclusion

The Trustees are extremely pleased with progress made this year, and believe that the work is developing well as is our relationship with the workers in Djibouti. We plan to develop the work of Trust moving forward and have plans for an in person meeting with some of Djibouti workers when they visit the UK this summer.
