**Objects:** (1) TO PROMOTE THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN RIPE, LAUGHTON AND CHALVINGTON IN EAST SUSSEX, IN PARTICULAR BY HOLDING A MUSIC FESTIVAL, INCORPORATING MUSIC OF ALL GENRES, AND SUPPORTING AND FUNDING LOCAL ARTS ACTIVITIES;(2) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER PURPOSES IN RIPE, LAUGHTON AND CHALVINGTON IN EAST SUSSEX WHICH MAY BE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY SEE FIT TO INCLUDE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** The Villages Music Festival held a successful  8 day Festival from 1-9 July 2023 with performances of music of different genres, given by both amateur and professional musicians . Surplus funds from the Festival will be offered as grants to local music and arts organisations in November 2023.
