Trustees Report 2024 Seabridge Primary School PTA
Seabridge Primary School Parent Teacher Association is a charity registered in England. It is run solely by volunteers to raise money to help provide school materials, resources and facilities to benefit those who use the school.
Our events this year began in October with the fireworks night which is always well supported by the school families and the local community. Our Christmas events ran smoothly, with the Christmas fayre, disco and Christmas card designs being once again popular.
The children had the opportunity to produce personalised gifts for both Mother’s and Father’s day.
The Scarecrow trail was not as popular as the previous year despite lots of enthusiasm last year. We sold refreshments at Sports day, which was appreciated by parents and raised a little money too. The year ended with the Summer Fayre which was once again well attended and disco.
This year we were delighted to see the completion of the KS1 timber trail after a number of years fundraising and planning. We have also supported the school by purchasing reading folders and books, as well as our ongoing contributions to subscriptions and funding the coaches for a whole school trip to the pantomime at The Stafford Gatehouse.
As we look forward to another successful year, we are not able to do this without help. We need to encourage more members to join, and we need more help if we are to continue to run big events. We would like to thank everyone who has given their time and support. We look forward to working with you next year.

Basis of Independent Examiner’s Report
The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the PTA and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records for the year ended 4 September 2024. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent Examiner’s Statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention :
-
(1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
-
to keep proper accounting records ;
-
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records have not been met; or
-
(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
