We are a small charity. This is our fourth financial period. Our Trustees remain the same as at the time of our formation as a CIO. All trustees give their time voluntarily and received
no remuneration or other benefits. The charity does not have any overhead (no costs for maintenance and management).
This fiscal year, in accordance with the aims in our governing document, we provided a financial contribution to the Ormylia Foundation to assist the rural poor population of northern Greece through health care. We also made a modest contribution of money to help the historic Church of the Ascension at Dubrovnik as a cultural monument to the history of Orthodoxy in the city.
We received a single sizeable donation from the USA in this fiscal year, for which we obtained an independent examination of our accounts. The money was entrusted to us for distribution according to the charity’s aims; and about 68% of this money remains as cash in the bank at 31/03/2022, to be distributed by the charity in the next fiscal year(s).
