TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE SUBJECT OF THE MILL.3. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE BRASS INDUSTRY IN NORTH EAST SOMERSET AND THE BRISTOL REGION BY FACILITATING AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO THE INDUSTRY, ITS WORKING METHOD AND PEOPLE INVOLVED.4. FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN THE METAL INDUSTRY’S HERITAGE, HISTORY AND RELEVANCE FOR TODAY, PARTICULARLY IN RELATION TO THE ITS PLACE IN NORTH EAST SOMERSET AND THE BRISTOL REGION.

**Activities:** Volunteers open the interpretation and education centre within the Mill, describing the ancient brass industry and its social impact in the region to the public. We undertake maintenance and husbandry of this Scheduled Ancient Monument in liaison with relevant authorities, conduct research, give guided tours and talks and publicise the Brass Mill as an asset to the local and regional community.
