Activities

WEFA aims to drill at least one borehole per year in drought-stricken communities in Zimbabwe. This is financed by raising funds in local communities and parishes in England and Wales. The gift of water significantly decreases malnutrition and water-borne diseases while empowering local communities to cultivate crops. We educate communities regularly on hygiene and nutrition issues.

Objects: The Relief Of Poverty For The Public Benefit Of People In Sub-Saharan Africa Caused By A Lack Of, Or Insufficient Access To, A Clean And Adequate Source Of Water. This Shall Be Achieved In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Access To Borehole Water, Educating The Public On Irrigation, Sanitation, Hygiene And Nutrition, And Promoting Access To Schooling.
