The charity is run by 5 Trustees.
The charity is dedicated to establishing a community that provides support to people living
with autism. Our aim is to raise awareness, provide support and create a community. Stand
Out For Autism wants every person on the spectrum to feel as a valued member of society
and we aim to be able to create, build and establish further resources and activities by
working with the autism community in our local area as the need and interest arises.
The object of the Charity is to improve the quality of life of people with autism {and related
conditions) and their families throu8h the development, delivery and promotion of activities
and support which improve their health, education, and social welfare.
The Trustees have complied with the duty to have due regard to the guidance on public
benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising its powers and duties. The
Trustees are aware of their obligation to report serious incidents, as defined by the Charity
Commission, to the Commission and can confirm that there have been no such incidents
through the year.
During the year to 5th April 2025 donations were received from which a bus was purchased
and converted for use as a mobile sensory unit. A grant was also received to cover the initial
costs of stor
ge and insurance.
