Introduction
Donnie Berenblul was Ix*rn on Thursday 20 April 2017.
He had Trisomy 18 and was not exp8cled1g live more
| than a lew days or weeks In the end, he lived 142
days. spending the entirely ol h15 life in neonatal
intensive care al University College Hospilal. London.

Donnie's Fund seeks to addrèss some of these
challenges. to improve the lives of families with babies
in neonatal intensive care through woiects that cannot
paid lor from NHS budgets
The charrty was founded in 2017 and thi$ 2023 report
is the charity's sixth Annual Report.

In 2018, the Trustees agreed lo fund a slate-of-the-art
camera system lo allow families 10 See their babies
when away from the neonatal unil. There Is evidence

The camera system was operational through 2023.
However, conlracltsal issues between us, the hospital
and the supplier. an(1 operational difficulties on the
ground meant that usage declined lo a level where
continuing the contract fell unsustainable and rt has
therelore not been renewed for 2024.
