The registered and the principle address of the Charity is 143 Clarence Road, Normanton, Derby. DARUL ARQAM TRUST DERBY has achieved full registration on 25[th] September 2017 and its Registered Charity Number is 1174826. ## **Objectives and Activities** To advance the religion of Islam whilst adhering strictly to the Ahlus-sunnah-wal-jama'ah (necessarily in alignment with the Hanafi fiqh only) according to ulama-e-deoband as described in their book 'Almohanned alal mufannad'. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life. To preserve and protect health and relieve poverty, distress, sickness and infirmity amongst persons, without distinction of sex or of political or religious opinions or of racial ethnic or national origins. ## **Achievement and Performance** The Charity has successfully achieved its charity status and also its aims and objectives outlined in the charity constitution. The Trustees consider the state of affairs to be satisfactory. ## **Reserve Policy** The yearly donations and madrasa fees gives us approximately 6 months of reserve and we aim to have approximately 3 months of reserve at any one time. At 31 March 2024 the Charity had general reserves of £48260.
