The Camera Club wa8 regthred as a ¢harilabl8 incryf* organisalion on 22 Septernb8r 2017, and started
operating in thls fomi on 1 Cttober 2017. Previousty the had been operated as an unln¢orporated
association. On 1 October 2017 a c¢)mpany ¢)wning th8 freehokl premises vthere the Camera Club operates, the
Camera Club Limited. becawe a 100% subsidiary of the charity On 31 January 2018 the propety and other assets
and liabillties of the Camera Club Limrted transferred to the chanty. On 28 August 2018 the Camèra Club
Limited was dl8sofved. This re-org8nisalion has simplified the govemance ofthe charity.
The trustses are apFointed by the members of the No Staff are 8nyloyod by thè charty. and tt relles on the
assistance of volunteers for its athtbes to operate.

The charty provides Iwo studios, four darkrooms and a digiial surto for use by photographers of all abilities
lnexpenSNe￿ In London. It also hosts a gallery. 3th0￿￿h with Covwj it was not p0￿b￿ to organise exhibitions of
photojraphy over the year. Nomialty it iq available for use by extemal netsvorks of photcgraphers and local
communty group8. and Is used to IK)St snHH groups for n￿rnbel8 to leam aboutvwied aspects of photography.

Achlevements and P•rft)rman¢•
This has been a second drfT￿uIt year for the Club. COVKI has meant that xtmty at the club has been much reduced
from previous levels. Some *ivty in le￿rr5 of studio aThJ darkroom use took place at the beginning of the financial
year in October 2020. but the Govemment required a second period of dosure during the second nat￿nal lockdown
from 5 November 2020. There was a $I￿ht resufflpt￿n Just before Chnstmas, but then a third F￿10d of ¢losure until
mid.April 2021. A partial re-openry, with more limited (wiing hours. was possible from that point, with studios and
darkrooms ￿'ng available.

Operating income and eXp￿dItijre for the year was almost in bdan(*. wiul a SWAII dtht of £121. There was
substantially less irKY)m8 from skndios and da[kr(X)r￿ than in a pr&Covid year, but there TKas exceptional income of
£12,860 recebved in the fomi ofG0veMr￿tt grants available to organisabons th8 Club which had to dose dunng
perl¢xls of natK*n81 coronavirus shutdwi. Some £10.000 in Govemment grants had been receNed in the previous
year for same reason The operating expend[￿re Ind￿ a prOVi￿on of £8,190 for improvements ts flre doors

5. TRUSTEE EXPENSES
Two (four in 201￿20} of the Trustees were re-imbursed during the year out of pctket expenses incurred
