## _Summary of objects of the charity, set out in its governing document_
To promote, provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities for the inhabitants Of Carlton and the surrounding areas in the district area of Nottingham East.
To collect and receive money by way of grants, donations or other lawful methods to enable provision of facilities.
## _Summary of activities and achievements of the charity during the year._
- The group has continued to liaise with Gedling Borough Council to promote completion of funding bids to provide refurbishment of the green, the play area and the pavilion.
- Application submitted for funding renovations to the pavilion from the govt ‘Plan for Neighbourhoods’ funding scheme.
- Community consultations completed with local primary schools, cub and scout groups and the wider community.
- Portfolio produced for funding bids, outlining up to date community consultations and support.
- New Laurel whips planted as sound barrier.
- Paving and steps made safe.
- Liaison with local stakeholders within the community.
- Continued provision of table tennis equipment free for the local community.
- Continued social media presence and updated website for information.
- New noticeboard agreed to be situated on the park for Friends communication with the public.
## _Charities policy on reserves._
Cash sum of £9046 in funds for provision of costs to continue our work, to replace equipment and to assist in providing match funding for bids.
## _Funding sources for this year._
Due to being unable to hold events, as the green is needing repair, our funds this year Have come from donations from local and county councillors.
